a small community chapel where we want relationship reflecting that for which He gave up His life for you; and to go on an adventure together as a family, exploring His word and living it out as His chosen, called, and beloved — that’s you

Next events

11th October1pmHarvest Feast, and cawl lunch for everyone, please come! from “Be joyful at your festival” Deut16.14
8th November3pm“You have turned my mourning into dancing” and “Let them praise His name with dancing.” Almost certainly with no dancing, so no need for concern. Yet we long for Him to come, and will enjoy meeting together

Who we are

Our influences range from Gower, dairy farming, to Switzerland, Hong Kong, Ireland, to the edges of the Sahara. Yet we look quite normal
It’s the faithfulness of people like these that makes us family, and we look forward to sharing that with you

What you can expect

In our last meetings we painted on pebbles and stepped towards early church love feasts, with a meal in the middle of the hall Worship, communion, mixed with discussion, questions, art, meals, stories, based in the bible and prayer — meeting a Jesus who came and lived among us, laughed at our jokes, and took an interest in those He gave His life for And in response to Him coming to us; we also want to come to Him, and encounter the reverent and Holy Always with a LOT of space for newcomers to as you prefer: gently listen, or eat the food and laugh at our jokes

What we believe

We emphasize not just hearing, but also living what we believe, which leads to lively and engaging meetings We believe in being led by the LORD Jesus; that He is the safest place for our thoughts, feelings, hopes and dreams; and that He proved it, God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Therefore, since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from wrath through Him! Romans 5v8-9 This has led us from Lady Barham’s Connexion in 1822, to now as a Congregational chapel. We fully support and affirm these roots, aswell as the Apostle’s Creed In this we emphasize real encounter with Him, and building each other up; to see each other grow into that to which Christ calls us

Can my kids come

That would be wonderful. We’ve had 40+ children in the past. Our experience ranges from kids excluded from school, to kids running a school, and running church! We love and look forward to all of that Currently those things are not running, so if you're a parent or grandparent with any age of children, from toddlers to young people, let us know in advance, and we can have an all-age meeting/party together, with a focus on the things of heaven. Dates and times are flexible
